Smiling from Ear to Ear

Mum and Dad are with us for a few days and the weather is glorious. We have never taken them to Silloth, so we thought they might like to take a trip over, have a walk on the beach and go and buy some freshly caught shrimps to take back home with them. Breeze loves the beach. Today the sea was flat calm and she was in her element. She spent the entire time bounding through the shallow waves as the tide went out. Bouncing along with her ears going round in circles just having a ball. I swear she was smiling from ear to ear the whole time. We certainly were. It was a joy to watch.

Just to prove there were humans there too

After lunch we went to the promenade and had a picnic in the sunshine.
While we were having our lunch Dad spotted something swimming in the sea. It was Harbour Porpoises. Not easy to photograph, but you can just catch a fin on the left of the post.
