Swineside and Coomb Height

We are so lucky to live in such a gorgeous area and if I had to choose my favourite place I would really struggle. But up there in the top ten would be Swineside and that was the start of todays walk. Parking at the side of the road, just before it ends, we head up Grainsgill beck

We carried on up the beck until we came to the Cumbria way, from there we decided to head left and make our own path through the heather. It's hard work for short legs, but there is nothing quite like a spaniel jumping through heather. It was like this all the way over Coomb Heights

And nothing quite like a spaniel jumping thorugh heather to tire her out. The road ahead is Swineside, where we started

Today seemed to be the day that Breeze learnt that sometimes when we stop, it's a good idea if she stops too

So for the first time, I managed to get a close up on a walk!
